Getting in Touch with Literacy Conferecne in Seattle. 

Where We've Been and What Has Been Said:

In November 2019 Dr. Rosenblum presented about our project at the Getting in Touch with Literacy conferene in Seattle. 

It was an honor for Dr. Rosenblum to take part in a podcast by the Renwick Centre in Australia. During the podcast, she talks with Trudy Smith about the importance of graphics literacy and ways teachers and others can support the development of these essential skills. 

In 2017, 2018, and 2019 Dr. Rosenblum presented about our project at the CTEVBI conference.

At the POSB Math and Science Institute for Instruction, Dr. Rosenblum shared preliminary findings of our 2018-2019 pilot study.

At the 2018 AER International Conference in Reno, NV Dr. Rosenblum shared results of our spring 2018 feasiblity study. 

Our work was highlighted in the Inside IES Research blog for Dec. 2016.

An article outlining the results of the evaluation study conducted in our previous project appeared in the Jan./Feb. 2018 issue of the Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness.

Our work was included in the Ed Games Expo held at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC Jan. 2018.

Dr. Rosenblum and Dr. Beal did a workshop presentation at the Getting in Touch with Literacy meeting in New Orleans in Dec. 2017.

Dr. Rosenblum and Dr. Beal presented a poster at the Council for Exceptional Children Convention and Expo in Boston April 2017.


Dr. Rosenblum presented about the AnimalWatch Vi Suite project at the Arizona AER conference in Yuma on November 4, 2016.

The project was included in a University of Florida news article about personalizing virtual learning.

Our project was talked about in the Fall Arizona AER Newsletter on pp. 16-17.
